Stylish black till system comes to STRATTO

STRATTO, the Italian food outlet offering eat-in and takeaway meals, has chosen AURES OLC 15 display screens for cash desk at its restaurants and points of service.
Some of the screens are standard displays mounted on stands, other are Vesa versions mounted on poles – all in Black Piano lacquered finish.
Modular till management
The displays are accompanied by INEOS mini PCs also from the AURES Group, forming the backbone of modular till management system powered by software solutions from specialists CRISALID.
STRATTO has been expanding its concept in France on a franchise basis since 2009, with the tagline “Vario, Rapido, Gustoso”. It has over 20 restaurants and corners nationwide, serving pizza portions, pasta, ciabatta and focaccia bread, salads, pastries, ice creams and hot drinks – all day long and throughout the year.
Ultimately, Hervé MUSSET and Pierre de WULF the founders and managers of STRATTO, aim to open over 100 restaurants and takeaway outlets across France.
Cath KIDSTON updates tills

Quintessentially British retailer Cath KIDSTON, famous for its floral prints, accessories and homewares, recently completed the roll out of new tills.
Between two and five till management systems, comprising Odyssé integrated touchscreen electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) terminals and matching ODP 200 receipt printers from the AURES Group, have been installed in each of its 50 UK stores.
Andy STRUTHERS, head of IT at Cath KIDSTON, said the choice of pearl bases and carmine red clips fitted the brand’s colour and style.
He also told Retail Technology : “Store staff found the integrated touchscreen was much easier to use. It was also better designed, as an all-in-one unit, so the installation process was easier. The hard drive is easily accessible, making it very easy to swap out.”
The new till equipment deployed is running Cath KIDSTON existing retail management software by Futura.

Parisian fashion outlet takes on new, good looking till systems. Colette, a Parisian fashion, design, art and music destination, has chosen the Odyssé electronic point-of-sale (EpoS) terminals for till management operations. The news EPoS systems have been deployed at its exclusive 700-square-metre concept store at 213 rue Saint-Honoré.
Matching brand ethos
Eugenio Carreira, Colette’s head of IT said the styling and interchangeable colours of the touchscreen systems developed by the Aures Group complemented “the store’s contemporary feel and creative spirit.”
The news tills are running retail software systems from French software firm, Cegid Group. »

French women’s clothing retailer chooses Odyssé II terminals with contemporary look.
Women’s fashion chain DDP Woman has chosen the AURES Group and its Odyssé II electronic point of sale (EPOS) terminals for till operations in its French retail outlets.
Over 120 DDP Woman stores will ultimately use the Odyssé touchscreen systems, according to Gilles Grandvalet , AURES Group key accounts manager in France. »

Quiksilver has chosen the POSLIGNE Odyssé integrated touchscreen systems, for all their new concept stores across Europe that will support rapid expansion plans.
The retailer has an annual estimate of 10-20 openings scheduled to take place over the next few years.
Quiksilver’s flagship Boardriders outlet in Capbreton, France, is the first store to be equipped with the Odyssé terminals, which include matching receipt printers and scanners from AURES.
